Introducing John Hancock

Each of Jessica's Fifth Grade Class was assigned a Revolutionary war hero to portray. (There were only two female characters, so most of the girls were given a male character.) They spent the last two months researching and studying and then had to give a three minute talk as that person including period costumes and two props. They could not buy or rent a costume.

Today was Jessica's day to present John Hancock.

She did such a great job with her presentation. They were told to not read their talk, but to use 3x5 cards for notes. Jessica was the only one in the group to do that. She was nervous, but you couldn't tell during her speech.

Good job Jessica!!
