Back to School

Jessica is in 6th grade, Jonathan is in 1st, and Alyssa is in 4th

I snuck in one more picture of Jonathan, because he is in 1st grade and won't be "embarrassed" by having his picture taken at school.

Vacation pics

I don't have pictures from my mother-in-law yet, so this isn't a comprehensive look at our trip, but here's a few of the highlights...

It took us two days to travel to San Diego. The kids do really well keeping themselves entertained while stuck in the van. I don't do as well.

We went to the beach and Papa Echo and I became REALLY sunburned. (We managed to keep sunscreen on the kids.) The next day we went to the tide pools and a lighthouse.Grandma Echo, Alyssa, Jonathan, Papa Echo and Jessica

The next day, we split forces. Papa Echo and Jessica went to LA to see the La Brea Tar Pits and Aquarium and I took Alyssa and Jonathan to Legoland. It's amazing to see everything they make out of Legos. Jonathan said that he NEEDS more Legos.

We also made it to the San Diego Zoo and Old Town. It was a great trip, and we can't wait to go back!
